The Fischer group performs research at the interface of basic and biomedical sciences. Its major focus is the investigation of cellular pathways regulated or facilitated by RNA molecules and their relevance for human health. To this end, we employ structural, functional and systematic approaches to uncover/analyse RNA-dependent pathways and their alterations in disease.
