Verena Schoepf

I obtained a Bachelor’s and Master's degree from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and a PhD from The Ohio State University in the U.S. I was then a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Program Co-Leader at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies at the University of Western Australia. Since 2019, I am Assistant Professor and MacGillavry Fellow at the University of Amsterdam. My current research focuses on the resilience of tropical corals to warming and acidifying oceans using physiological and geochemical approaches.
