Zheng Kong

My research interests greatly fall into water treatment processes and technology development, especially stormwater treatment technologies for Low-impact development (also known as water-sensitive urban design by Australia or sponge city by China). Another main focus of my research is sustainable wastewater treatment, through understanding the nitrogen/sulfur/organic matter/iron dynamics and controlling its transformation to achieve benefits for wastewater treatment plants.
