摘要
A numerical model containing density stratified layers of liquid oil and water in a rectangular tank is modeled to interact with a rigid porous structure in the form of a T-shaped baffle under sloshing conditions. The arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian method is used to track the evolution of the interfacial and free surface wave, with the Navier Stokes and Brinkman's equations governing the incompressible fluid flow and the flow through the porous region respectively. A series of setup cases are simulated with interest in observing the interaction of the layered fluid and the interfacial wave with a porous structure. The effect of the porous structure and its efficacy in damping associated sloshing waves and impact pressure on the tank walls is analyzed under various setup configurations.
