Neurosarcoidosis (NS) is a rare etiology of small-vessel-vasculitis of CNS. Even if the majority of cases shows systemic extraneural inflammation, a small percentage of patients (10–19%) manifests a disease isolated to CNS, making histological confirmation difficult to obtain. Various disease presentation and lack of relevant diagnostic tests contribute to diagnostic challenge.
