Optimal Deployment of the Integrated Energy Systems Considering Carbon Capture System

With the development of technology, more and more attentions are focused on the reduction of the carbon emission. The carbon capture system is a useful tool to recycle carbon dioxide of the carbon emission. For integrated energy systems, the modelling and optimization design are still two key points of the system operation. In order to solve problems above, this paper provides a modelling of the integrated energy systems considering carbon capture system, and proposes an optimal deployment method considering four kind costs, such as the electricity/gas/carbon transaction cost and the operational and maintenance cost. By analyze the performance of the example, the results show that all schemes reach the electrical and thermal balance, thus the efficiency of the proposed method can be guaranteed. In addition, the distribution features of each variable and the characteristics of each kind scheme are presented particularly. This paper provides a technology support for the optimization design of development of the integrated energy systems.
