Reaction: A three-pronged approach toward a sustainable chemical industry

Wilfred Diment received his PhD from the University of Oxford under the supervision of Prof. Charlotte Williams in 2021. He joined the Chen group at Colorado State University as a postdoctoral fellow in 2022, where his research focuses on the selective catalytic depolymerization of polyesters. Eugene Chen received his PhD in 1995 from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. After a postdoctoral stint at Northwestern University, he joined Dow Chemical, where he was promoted to project leader. He moved to Colorado State University in 2000, where he is currently a university distinguished professor, the John K. Stille Endowed Chair in Chemistry, and the Millennial Professor of Polymer Science and Sustainability.
