She was the director of the interdisciplinary breast fellowship, leading it to SSO accreditation, and led a ground-breaking investigator-initiated trial, which was published in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine. She also hosted the award winning podcast "Yale Cancer Answers" for over a decade. Since the pandemic, she has stepped back from clinical practice, but continues to be the Breast Surgery Section Editor for UpToDate, and is active in a myriad of global health initiatives.
