I have expertise in molecular pathology, particularly in oncology-related applications, including test development and validation. As director of an academically-based molecular diagnostics laboratory, I have experience in laboratory management and have served as a consultant to a number of companies, including Novartis, Pfizer, Roche/Genentech, Roche/Ventana, Asuragen, Cepheid, Leica Biosystems and ThermoFisher. I also have an interest in developing software that supports the work of molecular pathologists and oncologists in managing patients with advanced cancer.
