Pedram Mohseni

Pedram Mohseni (S’94–M’05) was born in 1974. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1996, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1999 and 2005, respectively. He joined the faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in August 2005. He has authored or coauthored numerous papers in refereed IEEE journals and conferences, and has served as a Technical Reviewer for a number of the IEEE publications. His current research interests include analog/mixed-signal/RF integrated circuits and microsystems for neural engineering, wireless sensing/actuating systems for brain–machine interfaces, biomedical microtelemetry, and assembly/packaging of biomicrosystems. Dr. Mohseni is an Organizer and Co-Chairman of the Advanced Neural Microsystems Special Session in the 2008 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS 2008), and a National Science Foundation (NSF) panelist in Biomedical Engineering. He is also a member of the Analog Signal Processing (ASP) and the Biomedical Circuits and Systems (BioCAS) Technical Committees of the IEEE Circuits and Systems society.
